3 of my classes are
“we’re gonna go over the most basic stuff imaginable and basically just read out of the book, here are assignments that are either way too difficult or childishly easy, here’s an A for literally just showing up”
and the other 2 are
“We’re gonna do something that’s fun and hands-on for the entire class time, the only homework is creating something related to what we discussed in class and you have complete creative freedom, here’s an A for being actually good at art and understanding the material”
college is wack
I swear half of my classes are like “You have two entire class periods to color in this picture of the digestive system” and the other half are like “After you finish this 80-question college-level quiz, you will have 10 minutes to write a 20-page essay explaining quantum mechanics and proving the origin of the universe. If you have a single spelling error or grammatical mistake, you will automatically receive a zero.”
