Oh joy, one of my Scratch projects concerning Itchy was taken down by the Scratch Team… gee, thanks ST for showing lots of love for the people who've spent literal years developing tools for your platform
bruh how on earth is itchy deceptive to others?! i would obviously use contact us and let them know that this was a false alert. ive gotten tons of these (regarding comments tho)
I've already submitted a contact us, but you know how well those go
spent literal years developing tools for your platform
That’s a huge waste of time…
Not actually, because developing Itchy is actually what convinced me that I wanted to do web development as a career. I've learned a ton building stuff for Scratch.
Similar case here, making stuff for Scratch is what pushed me to dive deeper into web and software development. Before that I simply stuck to HTML.
Huh. Ok.
The Scratch Team is sorta famous for taking down projects that show off (or are used by) external tools relating to Scratch. The Scratch Auth fiascos are prime examples.
Oh believe me - I'm well aware. I've developed several such projects and I know how the ST handles things. I'm just continually expressing my frustration. If I owned a platform and people were consistently making cool tools for it, I'd be grateful and maybe not ban them.
bruh what the heck
how is “We’re getting close!” dishonest?
Zero idea tbh… all the project said was that you can download Itchy on the play store.
Is Itchy an extension?
It's a mobile scratch client
broooooo why
(not calling you male btw i just talk like that)
Itchy is an Android app for Scratch. itchy.micahlindley.com
“contact them” ig but I don’t see how it’s a)inappropriate or b)dishonest
I think I'll probably just release a new update saying that it's officially available on the Play Store. If the ST takes that down then I'll find other ways of advertising it.
