y’know the saying “be yourself”?
is being trans or whatever being yourself or is it being someone else?

I saw an instance of being trans called “being who you truly are” just this morning.
It's still "yourself." Being trans is who you are, and have always been, and just something you figure out.
It's still 'yourself'.
