Hii, I’m in a hotel in a city 3 hours away from home with no bags except my backpack

I was on vacation in London, and I got there just fine and flew back to a city in Texas (that’s the state I live in,) from which I was supposed to take a flight back home to the city I live in, but that flight got canceled at the last minute. It was midnight and there wasn’t another flight until Saturday, so we got a hotel and we’re going to rent a car from the airport and drive it home. However, all of our bags have already been checked and we can’t get them back, so I don’t have my suitcase. It’s apparently going to be flown back to the city I live in, but I now very much hate airports.
