Not going to lie, I've never done potions in Minecraft survival until today. The way it works is kind of genius actually, and it's super fun to collect the ingredients for the potion you're trying to get!
was just thinking about this recently - i’ve got no clue how brewing stands work, despite playing minecraft for like 10 years
I was the exact same way - and apparently the reason why is just that it's complicated. You've gotta fuel the stand with blaze powder, put three bottles of water in, and then use nether wart as a base ingredient, and then look up the specific ingredients to the potion you're making.
thanks for posting about something that isn’t an argument. also i don’t think i’ve ever actually made them myself now that i think of it
I try yeah I've been playing Minecraft for years but hadn't brewed before.
very true :)
same goes with some of the suspicious stews
i don’t really play survival due to my hardware, so i play servers since it lags my laptop less
most servers i play are pvp so the only times i use potions are for speed (to catch up with opponent) and strength
Ah, gotcha. I'm technically on a server, but it's seelf-hosted on an old Optiplex under my bed
i host most servers using aternos since i don’t have the proper equipment, ram or storage on any device i own that can hold up to 10 players on at once hehe
i’ve lately been playing less minecraft but it is fun to open the game up and find new things to do when i’m bored :)
