  • Literally anywhere in Siberia or Kamchatka

  • Tiny Peruvian mountain villages

  • Dilapidated midwest ghost towns

  • Nomad campsites in the Sahara desert

  • Literally any town located at the northernmost, southernmost, easternmost, or westernmost point in a country

DO NOT mention any random alaskan north slope town or I will die trying not to go down a 2 hour rabbit hole on google maps and Wikipedia reading about a tiny village above the arctic circle with some goofy gold rush name where the only inhabitants are an inuit seal fisherman and a guy from the government deployed there to operate a weather station
