I actually don’t think kids are more accepting of other people than adults. Kids and especially teenagers are not accepting if you’re even a tiny bit different than them. It’s mostly because we’re immature. Adults are extremely accepting in my experience.
Kids are less accepting, but also less discriminatory. No matter who you are, my 8-yeae-old self would call you a “copier” if you made a track that looked anything like his, and hate you for the rest of the day.
Don't you live in a red state though?
North Carolina is a swing state, it has a red legislature but a blue governor. It’s actually one of the biggest battleground states in the country because it’s not red or blue.
Interesting
Also how would this make a difference
Sorry for the lack of response, there was a wildfire in my sock drawer
in some ways, yes. but kids haven’t been trained to be as discriminatory or to treat some people differently (if you’re a minority or from a marginalized community, then you’d know)
also, when kids are mean, it’s usually more forgivable, since they usually aren’t trying to be mean or make you feel bad.
maybe you just know less accepting adults than I do?
maybe I just know more accepting children than you do?
it’s a joke
+1 I agree with you on this one
Politely disagree for the same reasons
