Instagram Threads (aka Meta's brand-new Twitter clone) launched today. About to use it as a recruiting method for wasteof, because it's so obviously superior.

it's also apparently impossible to delete your Threads account without deleting your Instagram account 
this makes sense - threads accounts are just instagram accounts. but its annoying that the profile that gets created when you visit threads is irreversibly ‘created’.
