BREAKING: Scratch have laid off a bunch of employees, as stated in this video by ex employee @cardboardbee on Scratch: https://youtube.com/shorts/46B6EX3N1So?feature=share

Very interesting and not sure if it’s a positive or negative.

This makes the whole “The Scratch Team is highly underemployed” argument questionable at best. Not sure what to think of this

maybe i'm wrong but i haven't seen any moderators who got laid off (the person in the video is a programmer and afaik Scratch isn’t really being criticized for lack of programming aptitude.) also, they could be doing lay-offs because of funding shortages but idk

It’s still odd though as they are currently undergoing a major back-end infrastructure change yet they’ve filed all these developers? Surely they could’ve kept 1 more and laid off Cosmo?

idk who cosmo is (also, devs are more expensive than moderators)

I know that since it’s a full time job. Cosmosaura is a scratch moderator who has made countless, amateur mistakes on the forums and basically everyone on the forum community thinks she should get sacked

wait what mistakes has she made?

Mate I need to write you an entire list when I get home
