i know we’ve had the pineapple on pizza debate here but have we had the marmite love it or hate it debate??
Pineapple on pizza is an abomination, no fruit which isn’t also a vegetable belongs on pizza. They don’t go together, it tastes like the shit I did in the maths exam, and I never said marmite is better than butter (that’s sunflower oil which is clear!)
what about tomatos (a fruit and not a vegetable)?
tomatoes are a vegetable. A vegetable is a culinary term for any part of a plant that is used to partner or used with a main course of a meal. the categories can and do overlap.
thanks for proving me right! told you a vegetable was any edible part of a plant tpyically used to accompany a main course!
if you read the results closely they say it doesn’t include flower ovaries (fruits), which tomatoes are
other sources say that fruits and nuts on plants still count as vegetables, as the definition is just an edible part of a plant.
