i hate it when i start discord mobile while not at home and it says “Connecting” and i just wait for like 10 seconds bc i think that its just german mobile data being slow and then i see that my mobile data isnt even activated. i think mobile OSes should add some feature where it instead says why its not connecting and offering a one click solution.
it cant be that hard for Android/iOS to detect that my mobile data is turned off and add an inapp “Enable Mobile Data”-button
this would be an actually useful new feature
Discord mobile says “Network connectivity limited or unavailable.” when there’s no internet connection from WiFi and mobile data. It’ll only say “Connecting…“ when there’s an active internet connection and it’s attempting to connect to the Discord gateway.
it like shouldnt try to connect using wifi while it knows that the wifi doesnt have internet
that’s a discord issue
on everything else it says something like “could not make a connection to the server - no internet connection”
youre right, the youtube app doesnt show a “connecting“ text when i open it with an invalid wifi connection, it just loads infinite instead. so much better
also you kinda missed the main point of my post i think
i dont really care about whether the text says “connecting” or “no internet connection”, my post was mainly about a qol integrated os-level one-click fix button
there’s already a toggle mobile data in the control centres on android and iOS
too many buttons, thats not qol
my ios always says “your mobile data is off pookie corm turn it back on :3”
i can’t spell but i believe my point still gets across
wait what something like that already exists?
where? like does it automatically show when using apps like discord mobile with mobile data turned off
is the “OK” just an ignore or a one click fix to automatically turn on mobile data? guessing the first one :(
ok is ignore, but settings is a two click fix (takes to you the right page, you just have to toggle the toggle)
