ran out of space, so I’m adding stuff here.
Play chirpy reverie. It is amazing, especially for scratch.
Play D&D. It is perhaps the best game ever made. Make sure to play it with people you like, though.
Play Spider-man (insomniac’s). It’s the best superhero game (at least for a week)
Read What if? and What if? 2. They are funny and science and you should not reenact any of the experiments in them.
watch Pulp Fiction. Greatest movie.
thats all for now, but expect more late probably.
I'm tired of people never listening to my recommendations. I'll be like "dude this book literally changed my life you have to read it" and they'll be like "". No one has ever come back to me and said something like "omg I took your recommendation and wow it was good" so here is my favorite stuff:
Play the video game ultrakill. It's the best.
Read Stranger in a Strange Land. It will change the way you look at the world.
Play Just Cause 3. It's an action movie but game
Read the Dragonlance chronicles. It's the best fantasy series I have read so far.
Play Spider-Man. It's good.
Read the Dark Tower series, especially the second book (which is The Drawing of Three). It's better fantasy than Dragonlance even though Dragonlance is peak.
Read The Long Walk. It gives amazing insight into the deterioration of the body and the effects of that on the mind.
Play Doki Doki Literature Club. It is amazing
Read Game of Thrones. It's complex.
watch Spider-man: across the Spider-verse. it is objectively the best animated move ever made.
that being said, watch Totoro. No villains, just fluffy cat forest gods. studio ghibli (correct spelling? its gib-li) made it.
Play Minecraft. It tastes like childhood.
These are a few of my favorite things. All of them are worth your time. Now that you know about them you can go get them. The books especially, which are free at libraries. It would mean a lot to me if even one person takes my advice and finds something great.
:)
i love xkcd and i have been meaning to read the what if? books
also d&d is truly an amazing game
