godot is very good, it’s got it’s own python-like language which is easy for new programmers to learn!

i would also suggest unity but it’s slightly complex if you’re really new to game development.

start learning!

Don’t let not knowing how to do something stop you from doing it.

The internet makes education more accessible than ever. Anything you want to learn, you can.

Let me help you get started.

What relevant knowledge or experience do you have as of now?

I do have basic coding knowledge

have you ever used Unity?

Nope, I don't have any experience in game engines. Plus, the new unity controversy makes me hesitant to try it

Unity’s a good one to learn in. I don’t know anything about the controversy, but anything you learn there, you’ll be able to apply anywhere else.

Don’t get stuck in the trap of indecision. If you wanna make a game, start learning something. It might not be THE MOST efficient way to learn, but it’s considerably more efficient than putting off any form of learning because you’re concerned you may not be taking the optimal path.

Action

alr I got unity lets try this out I hope its better than unreal

excellent news!
