capitalizing words at ðe beginning of a sentence is bad because ⟨deaf⟩ and ⟨Deaf⟩ mean different þings, as do ⟨romantic⟩ and ⟨Romantic⟩, but you wouldn’t be able to tell which is which if ðey would boþ be capitalized anyway

By that logic, speaking is bad because “deaf” and “Deaf” are pronounced the same, as are “romantic” and “Romantic”, etc, even though they mean different things.
