I like to debate, if it doesn’t devolve into personal attacks. Many other people don’t like to do this. It’s gotten me into trouble before.

I don’t know what to do about it though, because I can’t turn it off. Inevitably, in a moment of carelessness, I will post a response to someone’s post even when I really shouldn’t (as we’ve seen with the mef thing yesterday). Anyone have any ides for what to do?

What safeguards should I put in place to stop myself from doing this again? Or, perhaps there should be a separate place to debate complex topics (wasteof isn’t really meant for it anyways, it’s hard to navigate long comment chains)
