its funny how context effects the weight you put on numbers. like, if i got 10 likes on a yt video, i would kinda be disappointed. but if i got 10 likes on wasteof.money i would be very, very happy. it’s somehow more valuable because it’s a larger percentage, even if the exact same number of people liked it. it’s almost as if we compare ourselves to the biggest fish in the pond, and because the biggest fishes in the pond on wasteof only have a 60 or so likes, it makes the same numbers feel bigger.
the moral of the story, dont compare yourself to others. 10 likes on wasteof is the same as yt, and vice versa.
