So, I’ve been here for a bit, and I was wondering: What are the colored circles next to everyone’s names for? What decides the color of the circle? And just… why?

to answer your question,
the colored circles are your profile colors (and theme colors but those are coming soon)
you can actually view them on the waste of mobile apps and on beta and alpha.
to change it on prod go to settings and click “Surprise”
to change it on beta go to settings or your profile and pick from the dropdown
