did you know plants can communicate with each other they use chemicals called "volatiles" to send signals about threats
ants do a similar thing as well

Oh yeah I read something about trees that do that, very interesting!
there is a plant that closes its leaves when touched 
yes many plants have many types of defense mechanisms
