Question: Have you EVER bought something because you saw an ad for it, no prior knowledge it existed, but the ad convinced you it was good.
I’m no marketer, nor have I studied any related field too much, but I’ve heard that it’s known to take about six encounters with an ad (or some similar mechanism) before a consumer will further engage with whatever’s being offered.
There are several stages between a consumer who knows nothing about a product and a paying customer. At first, it’s just about making you aware of their offer, so you’ll give them more attention down the line for them to make the sale.
In other words, marketers don’t expect wholly unaware consumers to become customers after viewing one basic ad.
No
I hate spending money on things in general unless it’s necessary for what I’m interested in (not quite bills and stuff yet ‘cause I’m a minor but yeah)
I hate spending money so if I have to I will need to do research first
Idk? I bought helldivers 2 on a whim after playing the first but it was because two of my friends just got it
I would classify this as word of mouth
Fair enough
