So Australia is trying to ban social media for kids under 16, which iirc includes twitter, instagram, facebook, ect. But you can go down quite a deep rabbit hole on what is “social media”. Reddit? Scratch? Or even wasteof.money?
I think this is a good idea, but the government shouldn’t be enforcing it
Parents should not let their kids be on the bad social medias. Don’t infringe on everyone’s privacy and freedom to do what parents should already be doing
but the parents arent doing that
seems like a pain in the ass to implement and enforce (wtf u gonna do, send em to jail?), surely itd just be better to regulate what is legal for social media companies to do (e.g. no personalised feeds perhaps)
Wasteof.money is definitely a social media
Where'd you see that
I hope that doesn't happen it would be a shame
i’m not even sixteen bro but I don’t plan on going to Australia so i’m good
I'm all for it, other than the fact that you will need id to log in and prove your age, I'm not too happy about that
yeah, that’s suck for staying anonymous :/
Lmao I'm not on most social media's anyway
