Another level 3/5 (enhanced) risk is in effect for the US today. All hazards are possible. Be prepared if you live in the risk zone.

Nadocast Tornado Analysis. Nadocast is a computer generated outlook based off of conditions, soundings, and models; it is almost always accurate. This forecast suggests a high likelyhood of tornadoes, some potentially strong, from southwest Missouri into east Oklahoma.

Storm Prediction Center Tornado Analysis. The SPC, part of the government National Weather Service is generated by real people with a degree, and is also often accurate. The SPC suggests a more broad, less potent risk area from southwest Missouri into east Oklahoma.

Future Tropical Cyclone Eighteen has formed in the Gulf of Mexico. It will make mostly insignificant impacts to Cuba and Jamaica, reaching Cat-1 status just before Cuba before heading towards Alabama / Louisiana as a tropical storm. Major impacts are unlikely. Landfall on the US can be expected this weekend. Stay tuned for updates.

Category 3 Hurricane Milton has started to make landfall on the west side of Florida. After producing over 125 tornado warnings and over a dozen confirmed tornadoes across southern Florida, high winds of up to 125 mph are going to begin impacting Tampa and the surrounding regions in just as little as 1 hour. An extreme wind warning (pink polygon) was just issued for the regions. If you didn't evacuate, you must get into your shelter immediately and remain until local media says it is safe.
