sorry for the lack of updates. a lot of currently in-development addons are very big/take a long time, but i promise cool things are incoming!
New Update and Two New Addons
This new update includes a two new addons:
addMessageCountBadge: adds badge to the extension icon that shows the number of currently unread messages and plays a customizable sound effect when a new message is received.
addMessageNotifications shows a desktop notification when a new message is received.
Besides these more-visible changes, this update also adds a better addon JSON structure, better addon loading (pages donāt refresh on navigation anymore! 
), and a brand new extension popup made with Flowbite Tailwind CSS.
The Mega Update
With over 3000+ lines of code changed and 2 new addons, this PR completely changes wasteof.plus, and includes a new extension popup, a badge and sound effect for new messages, and desktop notifications. In addition to these more visible changes, the way addons are loaded as you navigate wasteof has been drastically improved, and permissions corresponding to addons are now requested dynamically.
I hope to merge this PR sometime before this Friday (July 28), and this will leave Firefox porting as the biggest task left to do before creating an āofficialā release. 
New Addon: Polls
Created by @mybearworld, this addon allows you to add, view, and vote on polls in wasteof.money.
New Addon: Chat Presence Notifier
Created by @Gilbert189, this addon sends a message when you (or someone else who uses @wasteofplus) enters/exits /chat.
This feature will be coming to the first @wasteofplus alpha release. Tasks left to do before then include integrating Tailwind CSS into the extension popup, as well as other basic restructuring issues.

Should wasteof.plus add a way to āArchive postsā? 
I was thinking of a button under the post/comment three-dots which would save the postās data to localStorage as well as itās replies/comments.
This means that you can retain a copy of a conversation even after it is deleted.
