i cannot install betterdiscord on linux

hangs on ‘installing asar file’

anybody know how to fix this issue?

edit: i’ve resolved it! i just had to install a more RECENT version of the installer and uninstall discord and reinstall it!

System Details:
CTL. Chromebook
Using mobile data (SIM card supported laptop)
Used menulibre to create a shortcut for installer
ChromeOS 107.0.5304.110 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Linux v5.10.142-19743-gd301e86c39f7 (penguin)
