one of the new chicks i got is an Easter Egger, so it can lay an egg with a shell colored other than white or brown (colour remains the same throughout their lifetime)
There are many many animals that lay eggs, and for some reason chicken eggs are the only animal eggs that we typically eat.

I loveee Easter eggers they’re the best, I have 3 and 2 of them lay blueish-green eggs, they’re so pretty!! Hopefully you’ll get a cool colored one as well!
