People shorten Mayonnaise to Mayo but there is no shortened form of Worcestershire, which is way more laborious

I’m only noticing now that I’m not supposed to divide the syllables like “wor-ces-ter-shire” and compress the “ces” into an s at the end of wor, but instead divide it as “worce-ster-shire”
