yeah oren suggested it but we realized there probably wouldn’t be enough users to meaningfully contribute to the notes and maintain accuracy.
fair, yeah
i guess it’s especially true in terms of misinformation. because wasteof is so small (top posts only get like 30 likes), if two or three people decided to boost misinformation/joke notes. it could easily ruin the entire system. at least with twitter there's a large number of users that ensure some level of accuracy.
Against all odds this is the absolute dumbest post I've ever seen on wasteof, and it's on purpose
