Cool as hell.
This should get resource management, MMO aspects, and combat. As well as that, I think it would be cool to have the distance of jumps affect the time it takes to travel. (That would also mean downtime activities for jumping). This is already amazing I can't wait for more :D
Star Map update
there are now stations which you can trade with. Many things such as station restocking, fuel, or being able to directly access your ship’s cargo are not implemented yet, but it’s taken me so long to make the station UI that I’ll just post this anyways

resource management: yes, I plan to have some crafting and repairing as game mechanics
MMO aspects: if you mean multiplayer or any sort of online systems, no lol
combat: planned if I ever get to that point
time to jump: sounds like a good idea as you will (in the future) use fuel to jump and that would go well with that
once I’m finished with stations, fuel, and ship modules, the next update will probably be mining and crafting

No, but you will be able to add modules and possibly later on buy different ships

Question: during a jump, there should be something to do. What activities do you have planned during the downtime a jump creates? As well as that, what about in-system travel?
I plan for jumps to only take a few seconds, and it’s unlikely that there will be much of directly controlling the ship, as the game is currently just menus and other than mining it will mostly stay that way
