anytime there’s an inspirational quote about slaying dragons it just has the opposite effect on me
like, I know that dragons are traditionally meant to represent great challenges, but
I really like dragons, they’re beautiful and awesome creatures (even if they don’t exist physically)
due to a significant amount of my identity being being a dragon, it just makes me think of mortality and “you’re a problem because you’re different“
the variation of my posts is kinda wild
talking about stuff I’ve made (code, art, etc)
deep stuff (or at least an attempt at being deep)
random humor
human rights issues
spreading the dragon mind virus my severe obsession with dragons/wanting to be one
I was reading some xkcd comics out of boredom and found a good counter to the stupid saying: “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.“
“sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can make me think I deserved it.”
language can be a powerful thing, for both good and bad
