I have a slight aversion to poking my nose into the details of fandoms that I don’t partake in. My involvement in a fandom is a binary property; either I’m completely out of the know, or I’m a fan. I have the aversion partially out of fear that my imagination will take details from the fandom’s content and do something embarrassing with it.

. . . However, the cold air gets a head start on heating through an unexpected exothermic process. As oxygen is collected by blood cells, it produces heat. The amount of heat produced by the reaction - referred to as Delta-H - would usually be reabsorbed as the blood cells release the oxygen, but changes in the molecular environment can change how much heat is produced or consumed by either reaction. As oxygenation and deoxygenation happen in different areas of the body - and thus in different environments . . .
