As you probably know, there is a right and a wrong side for mounting . . . the horse, that is. The right side happens to be the wrong side. This leaves us the left, which is right. Therefore, since the left is right, and the right the wrong, we begin by placing the left foot - that's the right foot - in the left stirrup, which is right, being the left of course, since the right would be wrong. Now, this is important enough to bear repeating: remember that since the right is always wrong, the left has to be right; ALRIGHT? Now, this happens to be the wrong side, which sometimes leads to slight difficulties.
I just found a new contender for the weirdest out-of-context quote out there: “Look, you know the rules; if you want to go to space, you either ride a motorcycle up some stairs or eat a bookbag full of butter.” Bonus points if you figure out where I found that.
Icelandic Water Dragon: *reading a short writing of mine, recovered from an old device*
1. Untrapped
After a massive explosion, Blue woke up beside Coyhead lake. It was slightly raining, but he felt much better then before. He knew that he would find Red soon, but he would never go into the dessert ever again.
The slight precipitation turned into a minimum sprinkle, then there was no rain. No boss. No coy bots. No cell. No over-enlarged green Coywolf.
At night, there was a 2-hour rainfall that made Blue slowly fall asleep.
2. Birds and Boats
In the morning, Blue got awoken by a clicking noise. When he opened an eye, he saw a small sphere was bouncing in front of him. Then, at an unexpected moment, THUMP! A tree near Blue shook and bent.
Behind it, there was a cyan and violet coy. Slowly, it approached Blue. But before the coy could get near him, Blue shouted "Who are you?"
The coy stepped back a little. Then he responded "I am Birds, a leadear of Rain pack. I found you using my rain field" Behind Birds was a dark green and blue coy, half covered in a coy bot suit. "My brother, he will come out in a sec"
Icelandic Waters: “You know, it wouldn't be too hard to reformat this into a Rain World fanfic. There are already plenty of brotherships in the fandom; there's no reason not to contribute.”
Icelandic Water Dragon: “Whatever we do with these, I'm still disappointed that the original writings were desecrated . . . by me, no less.”
*vaguely remembers encountering this song in a Rhythm Doctor level*
*retrieves the level from rhythm.cafe, reformats and unzips it, runs the OGG file through Audacity, adds metadata, and saves it to the RW-570 audio library*
“Check it out, I'm in the house . . . like-carpet.”
Wait, is today a Friday the 13th? I’m not superstitious - in fact, I don’t know what the big deal about them is - but I seem to be the first person to notice…
Icelandic Waters: “stonks ”
For the record, my music isn't even that loud. According to the volume monitor, most of my music is almost constantly over the 80db “loud” threshold, and the quieter tracks intermittently skip the threshold. I suggest that the headphone audio threshold be increased to 90db, because audio played through direct injection is meant to be loud and audible…
I HAVE DONE IT. And in all honesty . . . it wasn’t too hard. Achieving ascension, on the other hand . . . I’ll save that for next year.
I finished drawing a cluster of Project Nostophobia-style drawings styled around my self-coined philosophies. For context, I've included the original Project Nostophobia drawings. Feel free to excessively analyze these; there are plenty of meta references included.
Icelandic Waters: “If I deplete my laptop’s battery while using my Windows boot volume, will it carry over if I boot into macOS?“
Icelandic Water Dragon: “. . .”
I didn’t open my workspace intending to leave with 1.78 memes instead of just one . . . but I got sidetracked and here we are.
We aren’t very far from 2025, which is halfway through the decade. While we have made admirable progress in many technological fields, many of the expectations we had over 14 years ago have yet to be met. Everybody else is making demands for jetpacks and flying cars, but I must ask . . . WHERE IS MY WORD PROCESSOR WITH BUILT-IN WEBSITE HOSTING FUNCTIONALITY?!
FACT: According to information read from the SSD amputated from the Mac mini, older versions of macOS had an application known as iWeb, which may have served this functionality. I don’t know when it happened, but it was probably removed because website hosting isn’t a feature valued by the average user.
