After 18 days of investigation by WIX and not allowing the Blaze Chat to be available after the data breach that occurred due to User “A” changing the email token to another email address of User “B” and being able to access such messages, we are proud to announce that WIX has responded with a statement to us saying:

The chat behavior described above was not intended to function in this manner. We have addressed the issue, and our technical team has taken the necessary actions to prevent this scenario from occurring in the future. To avoid any doubt, this scenario is no longer reproducible.

This means that this data breach has been fixed, and Blaze Chat will be available to all users soon. However, according to our tests, the messages have been deleted from the servers due to this event. This means any group chats that were created before the breach will have to be recreated due to the security issue that occurred. If you have any questions, problems, or concerns, do not hesitate to get back to us.
