tbf, it makes sense considering that those old devices are quite a minority and are also probably costing more to run than any amount of money it indirectly makes them
however it’s also stupid that some companies (cough Nintendo) actively try to stop people from using their long unsupported devices in unofficial ways
they could downgrade the quality, but I think it just makes people hate them more
and the 2ds & 3ds are actually still pretty common nowadays, hacked or not
why run old device servers when more people use more recent device
shame on sony for dropping the ps vita so early in its life cycle
