i learnt about this a few years ago when i was researching stuff about the evolution of the BBC’s branding when they were using their previous logo that used Gill Sans and you don’t expect such an innocent pursuit to devolve into learning about some really horrific stuff

Eric Gill, to put it very simply, he traumatized his kids and was in general a disgusting person
