i know on other places it’s for well-known people and celebs and companies and stuff, but i’ve never heard of any of the verified people like @/jeffalo and @/allyz outside of wasteof

There's no real way to know who, but asking and being annoying doesn't help
it was originally for jeffalo´s irl and online freinds (yes), some people got it because based (i think) and at least one person got it by asking (even though jeffalo explicitly said you don´t get verified by asking, go figure)
