Suicide, But How?

Q: There were 3 kids who went to the place where a guy hung himself. They're not sure why, but some how he hung himself ( some information for you...he is still there hanging ). There was no furniture except a stool, but there was a deep puddle of water and a rope about 8 feet above it where the guy hung. How did the man hang himself?

A: He stood on a stool, which was on an ice cube / the water before it was melted, then kicked the stool away and eventually, the ice melted.
