it's very revealing how much Google relies on Reddit nowadays for search, SEO has degraded search to such an extent that Reddit is one of the few places you can actually find real humans answering questions other real humans have (which is somewhat depressing...)

The new Billie Eilish record HIT ME HARD AND SOFT is really good, actually. It's a pleasant surprise. Her debut had some great tracks and distinct production but felt a little too juvenile for my liking. Her sophomore was more cohesive and mature but lacked some of the bite her debut had, but this new album gets it just right, writing wise this thing is interesting and has great storytelling, vocally Billie Eilish is not whispering as much and is belting out some amazing notes perfectly. The production is unique and bold, taking plenty of unexpected twists and turns while using more live drumming that adds a more dynamic touch to everything. Plus the pitch shifting and other warping of the vocals at points really adds to the material. It was a good choice to not release any singles for this record, it's more enjoyable as a whole collection as you get to be thrown through a loop on what the album is going to do next on your first listen. Her best album and just a good one in general. In a year where a lot of big pop acts have released predictable, boring albums, this is a breath of fresh air.

a lot of the posts i've seen lately here have been very deflating. personally, i like wasteof because it is a nicer place than every other social media i use. it sorta feels like a weird and wacky group chat. it still is to me. there's a lot of people here who i think are cool and talented, i hope we continue to see folks like that around these parts. i've talked about it in the past but all these aimless arguments is just what twitter is 24/7, screaming that results in nothing tangible. i'm optimistic things can settle, i'll contribute to that goal myself by posting more of my silly little designs and what not.
