RAIN WORLD PROGRESS UPDATE: After my dad started his own file and found the gate to Industrial Complex, I decided to forget about Drainage System and try my luck in Industrial Complex instead. That was certainly the right course to take, as I have yet to go back into Outskirts and I am thriving in there! Almost.
On my last cycle, I was headed back to a shelter without much time left on the cycle, when I realized that the path to the shelter was just barely out of reach. With no time to take a detour, I remembered the vertical spear pole technique. I backflipped, staked the spear, climbed it to the exit, and made it back to the shelter in time!
I also completed The Survivor in that hibernation. Given my infinite-or-nothing thinking for certain resources, I’m not sure where I’ll use the passages.
The time is 4:59am. I'm sharing this journal entry, then hopefully going back to sleep . . .
ENTRY F
I had a dream that Mef wrote a wasteof post containing a character explanation of the serpent gods. It's a shame that I ever delayed reading it; by the time I took a second look at the post, it had somehow been replaced with xkcd-like comics in the style of A+. Shouldn't have wasted so much time looking for Watt and playing Minecraft Dungeons with my sister and my cracked, hollow thumb . . .
ENTRY C
The attempt to test Rain World at the event failed on account of inventory, but then I went home and played it on my own terms! So far, I made it into Drainage System after much effort. When the rain approached, there was a shelter on the other side of the room. I assumed that, this being the Drainage System, the room would flood rather than get crushed in the rain, allowing me to swim over the obstacles in the way and into the shelter. The rain did not accumulate. Being the person obsessed with knowledge to the point of calling it "mashed potatoes", that was an L on my part.
P.S. Did I seriously forget to mention the jokes that me and my sister made?
"Annoying pole plant neighbor", a joke from me about a pole plant located directly outside a shelter, which got me on multiple occasions.
"Eggs for breakfast", a joke from my sister, who liked the eggbugs.
Plenty of laughter over the slugcat and lizards casually passing each other in pipes, plus multiple cases of the slugcat and green lizards repeatedly pipe-cheesing each other.
When my sister asked if the mushrooms had any use, I responded with "I hear that they make everything go woweowawomwm" (paraphrased, of course.)
ENTRY A
The [ACTIVITY] event just ended. I'm a little hot. I took an unnecessary risk by bringing the stick onto the field. And the only thing that could have possibly warranted a responsibility waiver was a slow-moving pickup truck, which I didn't even come close to being hit by!
The second big event is yet to come...
ENTRY B
The Icelandic Waters have made up their mind; the next Rhythm Doctor correlation that they make - which, by my request, features Hunter - connects to Final Hours. I have a lot more of the details ready to be set up for this one, but I won't be able to design mockups today, as I'll be playing the actual Rain World at the second event 2:30 to 4:30.
"Our patient today is... a slug-cat hybrid. I think. (The things Edega sent us to treat...) You know the drill, intern."
P.S. I just realized how the quote at the end of Entry B was meant to be interpreted. I didn’t take that hyphen seriously . . .
I'm currently traveling to an IRL event that has nothing to do with my Rain World-related plans later today. I had to sign a liability waiver to attend. I read the fine print, and it said, in a nutshell, “injuries that happen to you during this event will be handled by your emergency contact and are not our problem“. The chance for injury is always non-zero, but I'm sure I'll be fine.
“. . . I'd rather be sitting in the dumpling shaft, thank you very much.“
If all goes to plan, I’m going to be testing Rain World for the Switch tomorrow. I’ve been told that the handling of keyboard and controller controls are vastly different, so I’m taking an opportunity to make sure that I can handle controller controls.

Can't sleep . . . nighty morning, I guess.
According to Prestige Tree’s data, my file has only been open for three days. It feels like it's been open for longer than that. I'm still working away at the first phase of the fourth row. Here are the numbers you probably want to see:
Maximum Boosters: 261
Maximum Generators: 249
Hindrance Spirit: 1.05e38 (approx. 10,500,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000)
Timeless Completions: 3/10
Quirks: 2.52e64 (approx. 2,520,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000)
Quirk Layers: 10
Next Quirk Layer Price: 1.69e65 quirks
Solarity Unlock Progress: 11/14 super boosters
Subspace Unlock Progress: 27/28 space energy
Thanks to GT-180, I have acquired a habit of mentally visualizing music in the form of Rhythm Doctor heartbeats.

Yesterday evening, I got the idea to “relax my open social filters a little“.

"Don't worry about it. It was just a proof of concept, right?"
"Yeah, but it's not a proof of concept if it doesn't work."

"I'm keeping it under wraps. I don't have all the details worked out yet. Just keep your eyes and ears open for striking and outlandish incidents."

The motion of the tail is an exothermic process that produces heat as a byproduct.
The caudal fin does not move on its own and has relatively high surface area, making it more susceptible to heat loss.
To remedy this, readily available blood from the tail, heated by the exothermic process, passes directly through the caudal fin to heat it before continuing its flow.

I stay silent and think about what he said.
If the opposite of something possible is always possible, how could this be applicated?

Will charging my phone through wired and inductive charging at the same time actually make it charge faster, or is that notion just as stupid as it sounds?
FACT: wasteof’s scrolling limits can be bypassed on iOS Safari.
Normally, if you try to scroll past the upper page limit, the page will reload. However, if you connect a Bluetooth keyboard and hold the up arrow key or shift-space, the page will bypass the reloading mechanism’s barrier and scroll into a normally inaccessible area.
Strangely enough, keyboard controls can also be used to scroll past the lower page barrier, despite it not having any added functionality. When in these out-of-bounds areas, scrolling using the space bar slows down to the speed of scrolling with the arrow keys. Pressing command-up or command-down will cause the page to quickly scroll into the infinite, unfilled voids beyond where the scrolling barriers would normally be.
I’d estimate that I went to sleep somewhere around 12:40. I wasn’t experiencing further insomnia; I just needed time to fall asleep, The information that Mef shared certainly helped me get to sleep.

ENTRY 1.30.D.3
I got insomnia, felt the urge to check wasteof, and lo and behold, Mef shared some mashed potatoes. This is undoubtedly the best thing that has come of my insomnia. The time is 11:06 as of this writing, so I'll spend another 15 minutes processing this information before HOPEFULLY going to sleep - no promises . . .
[ABYSSAL] ABYSSAL takes the form of a massive aquatic leviathan, despite its intimidating form it is typically quite peaceful.
ABYSSAL assists in restabilization and backup systems, as well as regulating moods.
ABYSSAL is very stable, and extremely damage resistant, making it an ideal fallback.
[ARC/SOLAS] ARC takes the form of a protogen-like entity, and is relatively laid back.
ARC manages systems security and repairs, as well as regulating problematic processes.
ARC is relatively stable and damage resistant.
Below is a rough sketch of each of them
[edit] outdated
I refer to these a fair amount on this account so I might as well give some context for them
NEUROS: CORE ENTITIES
entities within NEUROS can typically described as “characters” given their own free will and emotions (to an extent) to interact with the internal system.
Although this is typically used to simulate interactions within simulations, it is also used to parallelize operations in internal management, this is the distinctions of core entities.
NEUROS currently contains 5 core entities, each with varying levels of control and jobs.
[CORE] The main entity which is typically a direct representation of myself, although it can take more forms if needed or desired.
CORE has the highest system privilege and typically manages most things, as well as external operations.
CORE can become unstable under some circumstances.
[DRAGON] sometimes referred to as DRAGON_SYSTEM, typically controls simulations and manages generative processes.
DRAGON typically stabilizes system, although it does not take damage well, and is vulnerable to attacks or malfunctioning systems.
[FERALIS] the feral thing in my brain which is mainly responsible for my new catchphrase being “bite people”.
FERALIS can take many forms and is responsible for many generative tasks.
FERALIS can sometimes be destabilizing to systems, but is highly damage resistant, which makes it a bit hard to control.
CONTINUED IN REPOST
I think that I just defied Windows’s “don't turn off your computer” messages to the point that I damaged the operating system. Lesson learned, don't put up too much resistance against mandatory updates.
(It just finished updating. Don't panic.)
