Introducing wasteof for Android!
wasteof for Android is the official way to use wasteof.money on your phone! Features are being added semi-regularly, so if you’d like to give it a try then download it below. It's available on Google Play now!
Download it now: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.micahlindley.wasteofmobile
Hey if you have GitHub, you should advertise wasteof with this cool badge I made:
Sweet glory @ee stop posting so many times in a row lol, just post like one or two things that happened in your day
Only literally everyone who's been to my website or any of my social profiles knows what I look like
Absolutely not lol, I'm very happy with my affordable Pixel which has an amazing camera and doesn't lock people into a single ecosystem
Interesting fact: all Android users secretly want an iPhone. They'll try to deny it, but they know its true.
Looks like I got away from NativeScript just in time - even the founder has given up on it: https://fluentreports.com/blog/?p=1434
You either die maintaining legacy code, or live long enough that your code becomes legacy.
I’m going to postpone work on Codestories so that I can focus more on stuff like @wasteofmobile, Itchy, Devtask, Servabit, Vesper, etc.
Why are all the cool technologies I find always still in a very unstable state so that I can’t actually use them!? Examples: Nuxt 3, bun, SvelteKit, etc
Ngl, this is my life except instead of Minecraft it's working on useless programming projects like Itchy and wasteof.mobile 乁( •_• )ㄏ
What I should do:
Do homework
Study math
Learn Java(Javascript)
What I’m doing:
Play Minecraft
After two hours wrestling with React’s over-obsessive rendering system, I finally got @wasteofmobile to be somewhat performant. New APK release is out - estimated Google Play release (of v2) is 3 weeks or less!
Mine (Micah) means “who is like the Lord”
Mine (Joseph) means he will add
Mine (Kaz) means destroyer of peace :)
Anyone who’s feeling adventurous is welcome to test the (very early) alpha of @wasteofmobile! APK is here: https://github.com/micahlt/wasteof.mobile/releases/tag/2.0.0
I have it set up with a different app ID so you can have this version and the legacy version installed at the same time.
@wasteofmobile has one of these already - but it'd still be neat to see this as an (option) feature.
We NEED a swear filter. Like this post, or resend it to hopefully add it to explore, so we can add it.
