Heading down to my college for orientation tomorrow! Super excited - I'll get to pick the classes I'll be taking 👌

Just finished buiding a much more user-friendly post system for wasteof.mobile, then realized that I hadn't pulled the changes from the repository. Now I have a mess of a merge conflict 😔

Just clarifying - this isn't how it works. Usernames and passwords may pass through my servers, but they are not logged or stored. When a token is received from Scratch or wasteof, that token is transmitted back to the user's device where it is then stored.

@micahlt I just realized you have both my scratch and wasteof password from itchy and wasteof mobile both of which I use via a emulator on pc

For me, nothing will ever be greater than the moment in which he said, “it's Morbin' time” and proceeded to not only morb upon his enemies, but also broke through the screen and morbed the audience themselves

My favourite quote from Morbius is when Morbius says “Hey, Vsauce, Mr Morbius here. We all know that the 9th dimension doesn't exist, but what is 9? You know it's the number after 8, right? What if there's a number in between? And no I'm not talking about numbers like 8.5 or 8.76, I'm talking about an integer between 8 and 9. Now all this may sound crazy to you, and it kinda is, but what if, we've missed a number? We've all been taught that 2 comes after 1 and 3 comes after 2, but what if the number that comes after 8 isn't 9? After years of research and experimentation, we've finally found the number. It is dangerous, even knowing its existence will let it consume your mind, but fortunately, we've developed a reverse-containment cell, meaning it's everywhere except here. Our brain has a protection system, that filters out any information regarding this number, that's how we've been able to survive for this long, and why others like us went extinct in the past, but the number has been getting stronger, slowly getting closer to breaking our protection. We've temporarily stopped the number from slipping into our memory by using the world-wide memory manipulator located in this room to keep making everyone think that 9 comes after 8 with a side effect that makes everyone think that 9 is evil, but this won't last forever, as the number will keep getting stronger, and will eventually overpower the memory manipulator. We cannot allow number M̶̨͓̥̻͛̓̐̋͒o̷̤̦̰̞͆̔̃r̶̨͈̂͜b̶ defeat us!”

Okay so I know I just posted on this, but I’ve been working on this remix of Saint Motel’s song A Good Song Never Dies for about two months now (off-and-on), and I’d also really appreciate it if you’d give it a listen :)

Also if y’all are getting tired of the shameless self-promotion let me know and I’ll post something else for once 👀

@ee apparently the PR to require a token to access projects has been reverted (temporarily) to fix uploading projects. More time to archive projects I suppose!

The Scratch Archive is now available with this easy-to-use public interface (in early beta). I’m aware of the issues with search, and I'm working to fix them right now. However, if you’re interested in checking out some of the oldest projects on Scratch, check it out!

I’ve outlined my plan for archiving as many Scratch projects as possible.  I’ve uploaded the code and instructions to run it here: https://github.com/micahlt/sbarchive

If you plan on helping, go ahead and comment which range of project IDs you’re going to download.

Now that I have the news (thanks @ee) of this PR that will make unshared Scratch projects inaccessible, I’m archiving as many projects as I can, starting from ID 1.  If you want to aid in this effort, I’ll be providing some code soon.

I don’t know about you guys, but I know that Scratch has played a massive role in my life and my path to becoming a web developer. It even influenced my choice of colleges and degrees. Heck, I even became a Christian as the result of a Scratch project that someone shared. As flawed as Scratch is, it’s still an amazing platform and I’d highly recommend donating in honor of the fifteenth anniversary to support the next generation of social programmers 😊
